“Ryan Reid is an up and coming alto saxophonist based in Chicago. Starting at the age of ten, music has always been an important part of his life. Ryan has studied with many world-renowned musicians, including John Wojciechowski, Scott Burns, Dennis Carroll, Dana Hall, Jim Trompeter, Miguel Zenon and Jon Irabagon. He has shared the stage with veteran jazz musicians Steve Wilson, Clark Sommers, Paul Nedzela, Sharel Cassity, John Wojciechowski and Dennis Carroll, toured across Wisconsin under the direction of bandleader Katie Ernst for several years, and performed at historical venues such as the Jazz Showcase. Ryan is an active musician in Chicago's improvised music scene, and he has led his group at many venues throughout the Chicagoland area.”
